If you are currently in the dog box because your
Valentine’s present was a flop, Dups might just help you redeem yourself. You
don’t have to wait until February of next year to make things right. A voyage
for two is up for grabs in the ongoing Gold Cover Campaign. In order for you to
be in line to win this holiday of a lifetime, you need to take up the Dups
Dignity Funeral Plan with a cover of E50 000. The competition is open to
clients that already have that particular cover, new ones that would like to start
from scratch, and existing clients that had lower covers but would like to
upgrade. The Gold Cover Campaign kicked
off last week and will be running until June 30, when the draw will be
conducted.
Just in case you missed our bulletin last week, there
are fantastic advantages that come with signing up for the Dignity Funeral Plan
with the E50 000 cover while the campaign is running. Not only will consultants
come to you to help you through the process of signing up, a relationship
manager will be allocated to you. This manager will be your go-to person in the
event that you have queries on your policy or need any kind of assistance. We
take the adage “customer is king” very seriously at Dups.
To register for the policy, you need to have a copy
of valid identity document (ID), a copy of your marriage certificate (where
applicable), and copies of birth certificate, in the event that you would like
to get cover for your children as well. The Dignity Funeral Plan covers up to
six children up to the age of 22. These can be your own, legally adopted or
stepchildren. If they are students, they
can be covered up to the age of 26. There is no age limit if the child is
mentally or physically handicapped and fully dependent on the policy holder, in
which case we would require a doctor’s confirmation. Additional spouses and
additional children can be added at a premium.
Should there be loss of life, our consultant will go
to the client to collect all the documentation needed to process the payout.
All things being equal, the claim will be processed within 24 hours of the
documents being submitted. The documents
required for the claim stage are certified copies of valid ID of the person
making the claim, ID of the deceased, death certificate, marriage certificate,
medical report from the doctor who certified death or letter from umphakatsi, and
a confirmation letter from the morgue where the remains of the deceased are
being kept.
Remember to always pay your premiums monthly to
avoid defaulting. It happens quite a few times that one would have faithfully
paid one’s premiums for a very long time and then defaulted, only to find that
a claim cannot be processed. There are ways to take away the hassle of making
monthly payments. You can opt to pay your yearly premiums all at once,
quarterly or bi-annually. You can also pay via debit order or salary deduction. It is in
our human nature to want to put aside and do tomorrow what can easily be done
today. Many will be tempted to sit on this offer, deciding to sign up “some
other time”, but there is no time like the present. June is not very far. If
you procrastinate, before you know it, you would have allowed a golden
opportunity to slip through your fingers.
Call us on 2505 2028 if you would like to be a part of the Gold Cover
Campaign. We will be happy to come and sign you up, but you can also pay us a
visit at our offices in Manzini, Matata, Matsapha, Simunye, Nhlangano, Mbabane,
Piggs Peak and Siteki. You can also send queries to info@dupsgroup.com, www.facebook.com/dups or on Twitter
